You will start your journey at Aparcamiento Hotel Palazio, where you can park your vehicle before hitting the trail. Just a short distance away, at 0.46 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water station for you to refill your bottles and stay hydrated throughout the hike.
As you continue on the trail, about 0.95 kilometers from the start, you will come across the beautiful Ermita de Santa María, a must-see attraction along the way. Further ahead, at 1.01 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the informative spot of Cuello Arenas - Mondoto, providing insights into the surrounding area.
Midway through the hike, at 3.47 kilometers from the start, there is another drinking water station to quench your thirst before tackling the remaining distance. As you near the endpoint, you will reach Cuello Escarrón, a prominent peak 4.65 kilometers into the hike, offering stunning views as a reward for your efforts.
Near the end of the trail, at 4.34 kilometers from the start, you will find Fuente de la Sarteneta, another spring to rest and replenish your water supply. Lastly, at the trailhead, you can relax and grab a drink at Bar Hotel Palazio, located conveniently at the start/finish point of the route.
