This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route spans a distance of approximately 31.28 kilometers with an elevation gain of 2828 meters. The total duration for this challenging trek is estimated to be around 14 hours and 18 minutes, so be prepared for a long and demanding journey.
The trail starts at a parking area approximately 0.07 kilometers from the beginning of the route. As you progress, you'll come across various points of interest along the way. About midway through your trek, you'll encounter the picturesque Pequeño Lago Helado, a small frozen lake located 15.64 kilometers from the start.
During your hike, you'll also pass by Collado de Anisclo, a saddle point situated 5.9 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, you'll reach Collado Superior de Goriz, another saddle point located 11.5 kilometers from the start.
As you continue your journey, you'll encounter Punta del Valle, a peak 6.19 kilometers from the start, as well as a spring known as Cadena, located 4.69 kilometers from the beginning of the route. Additionally, there is a via ferrata named Cadena along the trail, approximately 7.84 kilometers from the start.
Further along the trail, you'll come across other points of interest such as Punta del Valle, a peak situated 15.64 kilometers from the start, and Espluca de los Sarrios, a cave entrance located 10.08 kilometers from the beginning of the route.
As you near the end of the hike, you'll pass by Collata de las Olas o de los Maquis, a saddle point 6.45 kilometers from the start, and Vivac, a shelter facility located 12.8 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.
