This extremely difficult 10.658 km long hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Monte Madonnino area. Make sure to pack plenty of water and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging journey.

Starting at the parking area, you will pass by the lovely Lago Cernello at 3.38 km from the beginning of the trail. Further along the trail, at 3.36 km, you will find the cozy Baita Cernello wilderness hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

As you continue your hike, you will encounter the tranquil waters of Lago Sucotto at 2.99 km from the start of the trail and a drinking water station at 0.37 km. At 4.16 km, you will find another water point to refill your bottle.

Midway through the route, at 5.29 km, you will reach the peak of Monte Madonnino, offering stunning panoramic views of the area. Make sure to capture the beauty of this spot.

On the way back, you will come across the Ristoro cinque laghi restaurant at the starting point where you can refuel and relax after completing this challenging hike. Don't forget to stop by the viewpoint at 1.95 km for one last look at the landscape.

Throughout the hike, you will also encounter informative points, historic wayside crosses, and attractions like the chiesa San Rocchino church. Be sure to take your time and appreciate the natural beauty of the area.
