This hiking route takes you to the spectacular Cima d'Avert in a challenging and extremely difficult trek spanning 10.921 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1607 meters.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the Lago di Coca, a beautiful lake 4.04 kilometers from the start. This serene spot offers a perfect place to rest and take in the surroundings. As you continue, at around 5.3 kilometers from the start, you will reach a saddle before reaching the peak.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 2.77 kilometers from the start, you will find the Rifugio Mario Merelli al Coca, an alpine hut providing accommodation for weary hikers. Further along, at 5.46 kilometers from the start, you will finally reach the peak of Cima d'Avert, offering stunning panoramic views as a reward for your efforts.
