This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Variante dello scarico. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 8.037 kilometers and an elevation gain of 885.0 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across a picturesque wayside shrine just 0.01 kilometers from the beginning. Further along the trail, at 2.28 kilometers from the start, you will reach a scenic viewpoint where you can take in breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Around the 3.9 kilometer mark, you will find Rifugio Antonio Curò, an alpine hut where you can take a break and refuel. This hut is open from June 1st to September 20th, and on weekends in May, September 21st to October 31st. It is located just 26.494 meters from the trail.
At 3.88 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a lovely picnic site where you can stop for a snack and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Additionally, at 3.9 kilometers, there is a drinking water station where you can refill your water bottles.
