This extremely difficult hiking route will take you through the breathtaking scenery of Croce di Monte Bove. The 12.012 kilometers long trail offers a challenging elevation gain of 1113.0 meters, making it suitable for experienced hikers looking for a strenuous adventure.

Starting at Piazzale Saliere, you will immediately be immersed in the beauty of the area. As you make your way towards Rif. Cristo delle Nevi, located 2.37 kilometers from the start, you can take a break at this alpine hut before continuing your journey.

Midway through the hike, at 4.27 kilometers from the start, you will come across the historic ruins of Fonte della Val di Bove followed by more ruins at 4.32 kilometers. These remnants of the past add a unique touch to the trail and offer a glimpse into the area's history.

Further along the route, at 6.01 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Croce di Monte Bove. Enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings from this vantage point, a rewarding experience after the challenging ascent.
