This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route covers a distance of 18.807 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1292 meters. The total duration for this challenging hike is estimated to be around 7 hours and 35 minutes.

The trail starts in a beautiful area with parking facilities available nearby. As you begin your journey, you'll come across drinking water sources at around 2.84 kilometers into the hike, so make sure to fill up your water bottles here. Further along the trail, at about 2.75 kilometers, there is another drinking water point for your convenience.

Around 4.61 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the Cabane deth Vaquer de Saplan shelter, providing a resting spot for tired hikers. Continuing on, at 9.29 kilometers, you'll encounter the Passada des Tres Corets saddle, offering panoramic views of the surrounding natural landscape.

As you near the end of the trail, at approximately 9.4 kilometers, you'll reach the peak of Malh des Bessons, rewarding you with breathtaking views of the area. Finally, at around 2.77 kilometers from the trailhead, you'll find Casa Lila restaurant where you can refuel and relax after completing this challenging hike.
