This difficult 10.04-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the scenic area surrounding the Table d'orientation destination. The trail starts at an elevation of 42.808381 meters and features an elevation gain of 597.0 meters.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by a parking space and a fountain located at the start of the trail. Further along, you will encounter a historic wayside cross about 1.47 kilometers from the start. Be sure to stay hydrated as there are drinking water stations along the way.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 4.62 kilometers from the start, you will find a parking area, a shelter, and an alpine hut called Gîte d'étape GR10. This is a good spot to take a break and refuel before continuing on.
Towards the end of the route, at about 4.9 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Table d'orientation viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, there is a restaurant called Les Hauts Paturages nearby where you can enjoy a meal after completing the hike.
