This hiking route takes you through a challenging yet rewarding journey in the beautiful area of F405E - Camin dera Ribèra. With a total distance of 21.968 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1447 meters, this trail is classified as extremely difficult, so make sure to be prepared both physically and mentally.
As you start your hike, you will come across Casa Lila, a restaurant located just 0.09 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This can be a great spot to grab a meal or snack before embarking on your adventure. Further along the path at 0.16 kilometers, you'll find a drinking water spot, perfect for refilling your water bottles.
Continuing on, at 1.93 kilometers, you'll reach Cabane deth Vaquer de Saplan, a shelter where you can take a break and rest if needed. As you trek further, you'll encounter Cabane de Peyrehitte at 7.17 kilometers, offering accommodation facilities for overnight stays.
Throughout the hike, there are several water sources nearby, such as Étang des Cigalères at 10.6 kilometers, Sestanhons at 8.15 kilometers, and various others to keep you hydrated along the way.
Scattered along the trail are historic boundary stones like F397E, F398E, F399E, and F499E, adding a touch of heritage to your journey. You'll also pass by peaks such as Tuc d'Angost at 10.46 kilometers and Cap des Canaus at 10.15 kilometers, offering stunning panoramic views as a reward for your efforts.
