The Eigertrail is a challenging hiking route that spans a total distance of 9.181 kilometers and features an elevation gain of 890 meters. The estimated duration for completing this hike is around 4 hours and 21 minutes, making it a moderately demanding trek suitable for experienced hikers.

The trail begins at a parking area located right at the start of the route. As you embark on your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. Approximately 1.69 kilometers into the hike, you will find Restaurant Brandegg, a lovely dining option for a quick break or meal.

Continuing on, at around 0.87 kilometers from the start, you will encounter an information point providing insights into the surroundings. Further ahead, at 2.97 kilometers, there are three spots with drinking water facilities for you to replenish your supply.

As you progress through the trail, at 4.59 kilometers, you will be greeted by a beautiful waterfall and a viewpoint that offers stunning panoramic views of the area. These locations serve as perfect spots to rest and capture scenic photographs.

Towards the end of the route, at approximately 3.22 kilometers from the beginning, there are benches available for a brief rest before you head back. Additionally, Berghaus Alpiglen, a restaurant with operating hours from Monday to Sunday, can be found around 3.22 kilometers into the hike for a well-deserved meal.
