This challenging 11.6-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning natural landscapes around Petergupf peak. The trail offers an elevation gain of 1153 meters and is estimated to take around 5 and a half hours to complete.

Starting at the parking area near Langwies/Traun Traunbrücke, you will quickly come across the first water point just 0.21 kilometers into the hike. As you make your way along the trail, you'll encounter another water source at the same distance, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout your journey.

Midway through the hike, approximately 5.78 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the majestic Petergupf peak. Take a moment to admire the breathtaking panoramic views before continuing on your adventure. As you head back towards the parking area, you'll pass by the impressive Loskogel peak, located 5.23 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.

While the trail is challenging due to its length and elevation gain, the picturesque views and natural beauty make it all worth it. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen, as well as checking the weather forecast before setting out on your hike.
