Starting at the parking area near Rettenbachmühle, you will embark on this demanding journey. As you begin your trek, you'll pass by Rettenbachmühle, a restaurant that marks the start of the trail. About 0.34 kilometers into the hike, you'll also find a parking area for your convenience.

Along the way, you'll encounter a shelter approximately 5.97 kilometers from the start, offering a place to rest and refuel. Further ahead, at around 7.45 kilometers, you'll reach the peak known as Hochglegt, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding natural beauty.

Additionally, there are various points of interest such as a memorial located 0.55 kilometers from the start. You'll also come across a bench 0.47 kilometers into the hike, providing a spot to pause and take in the serene atmosphere.
