This extremely difficult 13.843-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning landscape around Bergwerkkogel. The trail offers a challenging elevation gain of 1191 meters, so be prepared for a tough but rewarding journey.

Starting at Langwies/Traun Traunbrücke parking area, you will soon encounter the first water features just 0.21 kilometers from the trail. As you continue, you'll pass by Petergupf peak at around the 5.78-kilometer mark, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

Further along the trail, you'll reach Bannkogel peak at 6.36 kilometers and Bergwerkkogel peak at 6.91 kilometers, providing the perfect spots to take in the panoramic vistas and rest before continuing on. Loskogel peak, located at 5.23 kilometers from the start but slightly off the trail, offers another opportunity to admire the beauty of the region.
