This hiking route to Monte Priora is an extremely difficult trek, covering a distance of 16.064 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1613 meters. The trail starts at a parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before beginning the trek. As you set off, you'll come across Hotel Ambro, a restaurant where you can grab a meal or snack before continuing your journey. About 5.93 kilometers into the hike, you'll pass by the ruins of Casale delle Murette, offering a glimpse into the area's historic past.
On the way back, make a pit stop at Il Chioschetto nel bosco, a restaurant located 0.12 kilometers from the trail, to refuel and relax before completing the hike. As you continue along the trail, you'll reach Monte Priora, a peak that offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Throughout the hike, you'll also come across Osteria del nonno, a bar where you can take a break, and Fonte Cupa, a spring where you can refill your water supply. Additionally, there are drinking water stations along the route to keep you hydrated.
