This hiking route will take you to Cerro Pelado, a peak located in a beautiful natural area. The trail is an out-and-back type route with a total distance of 6.177 kilometers and an elevation gain of 390 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at a distance of 0.74 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a good spot to leave your vehicle before beginning the hike. Just at the beginning of the trail, you will find Los Asientos, a spring that provides a refreshing stop for hikers.
Continuing on the trail, at a distance of 1.47 kilometers from the trailhead, you will encounter Fuente de los Linos, another spring where you can rest and refill your water bottle. Further along the path, at 3.09 kilometers from the start, you will reach the highlight of the hike, Cerro Pelado peak. Enjoy the stunning views from the top before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
