This extremely difficult 22.202-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Monte Confinale area.

Starting off at the trailhead, you will pass by several parking areas before reaching the beautiful Lago della Manzina, located 7.28 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a perfect spot to take in the serene surroundings and have a short break.

As you continue on, you will come across the Bivacco Del Piero Giampaolo shelter at the 9.49-kilometer mark, providing a great resting point for hikers. Make sure to refill your water bottles at the drinking water points along the route, located at various distances from the trail.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the peaks of Monte Confinale (10.13 kilometers from the start) and Sasso Prealda (6.33 kilometers from the start), offering panoramic views of the area.

For sustenance, there are restaurants, bars, and even a pub along the trail, perfect for refueling before or after your hike. Remember to check the forecast before heading out, as the terrain can be challenging with an elevation gain of 1585 meters.
