This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 13.888-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1117 meters, lasting approximately 6 hours.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area shortly after beginning your hike. As you continue, you will come across a memorial at the beginning of the trail. Around the 1-kilometer mark, you will find the Rifugio Arnaldo Berni restaurant where you can take a break and refuel.
About midway through the hike, at the 5.2-kilometer mark, you will reach the Bivacco Seveso shelter where you can rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. As you approach the 5.73-kilometer mark, you will reach the peak of Pizzo Tresero, offering stunning panoramic views of the area.
Further along the trail, you will encounter an information point around the 6-kilometer mark, providing insights into the local area. Towards the end of the hike, at the 6.14-kilometer mark, you will reach Punta Pedranzini peak followed by Cima Dosegù peak at the 6.94-kilometer mark, your final destination.
Along the way, you will also pass by a natural water source at the 3.95-kilometer mark, providing a refreshing spot to rest and hydrate.
This out-and-back route offers a challenging trek through diverse landscapes and varying terrains. Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear.
