Welcome to the Z-Line hiking route in Saalbach-Hinterglemm! This moderate 6.71-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a picturesque journey through the beautiful landscape, with an elevation gain of 481 meters.

Starting off, you will pass by the Xandl Stadl restaurant at the trailhead, a perfect spot to grab a bite before your adventure begins. As you continue on, you'll come across the Hl.Thomas-Kapelle wayside shrine, a historic gem just 0.65 kilometers from the start.

Along the way, you'll find the Winkler Alm restaurant about halfway through the hike, offering a great opportunity to refuel and take in the stunning surroundings. Further on, the Bigfoot bar awaits you at the 2.84-kilometer mark, providing a refreshing break before you head back.

For those interested in local history, the Hintermaisalm restaurant is a must-visit spot at 1.78 kilometers from the start. Additionally, be sure to check out the Hintermaisalm viewpoint at the 2.76-kilometer mark for a breathtaking panorama of the area.
