This difficult 7.188-kilometer circular hiking route will lead you through the picturesque area around Bergeralm. The trail has an elevation gain of 460 meters and is estimated to take around 2 hours and 48 minutes to complete.
Starting off at Hotel Hinterhag, you will pass by the Turmfalke bar around 0.49 kilometers into the hike. As you continue on, you will reach the cozy Hinterhagalm restaurant at the beginning of the trail, perfect for a quick bite before your adventure.
Midway through the hike, you'll come across a couple of water points at 2.63 and 3.2 kilometers from the start, ideal for refilling your water bottle and taking a breather. Further ahead at 3.26 kilometers, you'll find another water point to quench your thirst.
As you approach the 3.52-kilometer mark, you'll see the inviting Thurneralm alpine hut to your side, offering a charming place to rest and enjoy the stunning views. Just a bit further at 3.59 kilometers, you'll reach the Bergeralm alpine hut, where you can take a break and savor local specialties.
