Welcome to the Feuerkogel hiking route! This challenging 8.483-kilometer circular trail offers stunning views and historical landmarks along the way.

The hike starts at the Katrinbahn parking lot, where you can leave your car before embarking on this adventure. Just 0.05 kilometers away, you'll find the Rudolfsbrunnen fountain, a refreshing stop at the beginning of the trail.

As you continue, about 0.28 kilometers from the start, you'll come across the Burgruine Wildenstein, a historic castle ruin with a rich past. This is a great spot to take in some local history while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

About midway through the hike, at 3.57 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Katrinalm, a charming alpine restaurant where you can refuel with some traditional Austrian cuisine before continuing your journey.
