This hike takes you through the beautiful area of Carretera de Escuaín, offering stunning viewpoints and historic ruins along the way. The route is 8.402 kilometers long, with an elevation gain of 434 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding trek.
Starting at the parking area located at 0.0 kilometers from the trail, you will first come across a viewpoint at 4.02 kilometers into the hike, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue onwards, at 3.72 kilometers you will find an information point about GR15 Escuaín, providing insights into the area's history and geography.
Further along the trail, at 3.85 kilometers, you will come across a drinking water stop, where you can refill your water bottles and stay hydrated. Nearby, at 3.85 kilometers, there is another viewpoint offering a different perspective of the scenery.
As you approach the halfway point of the hike, at 4.15 kilometers, you will encounter a viewpoint with even more breathtaking views. Continuing on, at 4.19 kilometers, there is another viewpoint to enjoy.
Towards the end of the trail, at 3.85 kilometers, you will find historic ruins to explore and learn about the area's past. Additionally, at 2.14 kilometers, there is a natural water source, perfect for a rest stop before heading back.
