This hiking route takes you through the breathtaking Sestrals area, known for its stunning peaks and lush greenery. This route is extremely challenging, with a total distance of 15.098 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1731 meters, so make sure to come prepared and in good physical condition.
As you start your hike, you'll come across the Aparcamiento de acceso a San Urbez parking lot, located just 0.02 kilometers from the trail. From there, you can enjoy a panoramic view at the viewpoint located 0.02 kilometers away, offering a perfect spot to take in the surroundings.
Further along the trail at around 0.23 kilometers in, you'll encounter the impressive Roman bridge, Puente romano. As you continue your journey, you'll pass by several peaks like Sestrals, Sestral Baxo, and Punta de las Puertas, each offering unique vistas and challenges along the way.
About halfway through the hike, you'll reach the cave entrance at 0.51 kilometers in, adding a touch of adventure to your trek. It's important to stay hydrated, so make sure to bring enough water with you or refill your bottle at the drinking water station located at 0.51 kilometers.
Throughout the hike, you'll also come across various information points, such as Sendero prepirenaico, Camino de San Úrbez, and Cumaz, Selva Plana, La Ripaleta, Fuenteblanca, Collado de Añisclo / Ermita y Puente de San Úrbez, providing you with insights into the history and nature of the area.
