This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and historical sites. The trail is 12.457 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1328 meters, making it extremely difficult. The total duration of the hike is approximately 6 hours and 12 minutes.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Parkterrasse parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail. Continuing on, you will pass by the Dorfbrunnen drinking water point and the Simony restaurant. Further along the trail, you will reach the Salzwelten Hallstatt tourist attraction, which is located midway through the hike.

One of the highlights of the route is the peak called Plassen, which you will reach after hiking 6.23 kilometers. At the peak, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. On the way back, you can explore other points of interest such as the Skywalk Hallstatt, Schutzhöhle cave entrance, and Dreifaltikgeitssäule viewpoint.

It is recommended to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike.
