This extremely difficult 14.589-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the picturesque area of Hirzkarseelein. The trail starts at the parking lot P3 and immediately immerses you in the beauty of the alpine landscape.
As you hike along the trail, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find an alpine hut called Gjaidalm, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Approximately 1.82 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the Seewand Klettersteig, a via ferrata for those looking for a more adventurous challenge.
Midway through the hike, around the 7.3-kilometer mark, you will reach the Hirzkarseelein, a beautiful natural spring where you can rest and take in the surrounding nature. Additionally, you will pass by the Kessel cave entrance, offering a peek into the underground world.
Towards the end of the trail, at around the 6.95-kilometer mark, you will find informative signage to learn more about the area and its unique features. The trail also offers opportunities for climbing and scenic viewpoints along the way.
