This hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints and peaks to admire along the way. The total distance of the hike is 17.86 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1024 meters, making it an extremely difficult trail that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area followed by a bar, where you can fuel up before the hike. About 1.63 kilometers into the trail, you will find the Refugio de Calzilarruego, a shelter to rest and take in the surrounding nature.
As you continue on, you will reach La Cuta peak at 4.11 kilometers from the start, offering a panoramic view of the area. Throughout the hike, you will encounter various viewpoints such as Mirador de Ziarrazils, Mirador de Punta Acutas, and Mirador de Calcilarruego, each providing unique perspectives of the landscape.
At the summit of Sierra de las Cutas peak, located 5.07 kilometers from the start, you can take a moment to appreciate the breathtaking views. Along the way, you will also find benches to rest and information points to learn more about the area.
Towards the end of the trail, at around 8.84 kilometers from the start, you will pass through a saddle before reaching the final destination at Mirador de Ziarrazils. From here, you can enjoy a well-deserved break while taking in the magnificent scenery.
