As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at a distance of 0.02 kilometers from the trail. Near the parking area, you will find the Auberge du Caroux restaurant just 14 meters away from the trail, where you can grab a bite to eat before or after your adventure.

Further along the trail, at 0.04 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the town of Mons-la-Trivalle, where you can find valuable information about the area. Additionally, at a distance of 0.05 kilometers, there is a memorial site to explore and reflect upon.

One of the highlights of this route is reaching the peak of Costeplane, located approximately 3.15 kilometers from the start. From this vantage point, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Along the way, you will also find drinking water stations at various points to stay hydrated. However, it is advisable to bring an ample water supply with you as well as check the weather forecast before embarking on this hike.

As you make your way back, you can stop at the Lo T’chapaïre restaurant, around 0.21 kilometers from the start, to replenish your energy with a meal.
