This hiking route takes you through a beautiful alpine landscape with stunning views. The trail covers a distance of 7.532 kilometers with an elevation gain of 544 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail, where you can leave your vehicle. About 0.07 kilometers into the hike, you will find a cozy restaurant called L'auberge, where you can stop for a meal before continuing on.

Further along the trail, approximately 2.05 kilometers from the start, you will encounter some historic ruins that add a sense of mystery to the hike. A bit later, at 1.25 kilometers from the start, you will spot a wayside cross named À J.P. Taurine, offering a moment of contemplation amidst the natural surroundings.

For hikers in need of refreshment, there are drinking water stations along the trail, with one located 0.12 kilometers from the start and another at 3.77 kilometers. These are vital rest stops to stay hydrated during your trek.

Towards the end of the route, at 3.77 kilometers, you will reach the alpine hut known as Gîte d’étape des Bourdils, your final destination. This is a perfect spot to rest and unwind before heading back along the same trail.
