This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning area of Demut - La Muta. Throughout the 13.126 kilometers journey, you will experience an elevation gain of 790.0 meters, making it a challenging hike suitable for experienced hikers.

Starting at the parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail, you will soon come across a picnic site at the first waypoint, just 0.04 kilometers from the start. As you continue on the trail, you will reach Nemes Alm - Rifugio Malga Nemes, an alpine hut and restaurant, situated 1.9 kilometers from the start, perfect for a refreshment break.

Midway through your hike, at around 5.83 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Hochgräntensee, a picturesque lake where you can take in the beauty of the surrounding natural landscape. Additionally, you will also find Rifugio Coltrondo, another alpine hut and restaurant, just 0.02 kilometers from the trail.

Further along the trail, at 6.56 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Demut - La Muta, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the area. Along the way, you will also come across various points of interest such as Rotecksattel, Hochgräntenjoch - Sella di Nemes, and historical sites like Kriegerfriedhof and Terrassen der Baracken und Unterstände aus 1. Weltkrieg.
