This extremely difficult 14.575 kilometers long circular hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Ruchenköpfe in the beautiful natural surroundings. With an elevation gain of 853 meters, this trail will challenge even experienced hikers.

Starting your journey at Sillberg parking lot, make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as you make your way towards the Ruchenkopf-Hütte wilderness hut which is 5.22 kilometers from the starting point. This hut provides a perfect resting spot where you can refuel before continuing your adventure.

As you hike further, you will reach the peak of Ruchenköpfe at 6.47 kilometers from the start, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings. Along the way, you will come across several information points providing insights into the history and natural features of the area.

Make a stop at the Peter Conrad memorial at 5.7 kilometers from the start to pay tribute to the local history. Additionally, at 5.54 kilometers from the start, you will find a refreshing natural spring to quench your thirst.
