This extremely difficult 14.575-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the stunning Ruchenköpfe in the wilderness area. The trail starts at Sillberg parking, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this challenging adventure. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as this hike will take approximately 5 and a half hours to complete.

As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. About 5.22 kilometers from the start, you will find the Ruchenkopf-Hütte wilderness hut, offering a cozy spot to rest and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Further along, at 6.47 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Ruchenköpfe, where you can take in breathtaking panoramic views.

Throughout the hike, you may also encounter various information points with interesting facts about the area. Keep an eye out for the Peter Conrad memorial at 5.7 kilometers from the start, paying tribute to a historic figure. Additionally, at 5.54 kilometers from the start, you will find a natural spring to refill your water supply.
