Starting from the trailhead, hikers will first come across the Kesselwand peak at 3.27 kilometers into the hike. Continuing on, at 3.5 kilometers, you will reach Zeller Scharte saddle providing a picturesque view of the surroundings. As you approach the 3.67-kilometer mark, you'll find a picnic site, perfect for a rest stop to refuel and enjoy the scenery.
Further along the trail at 3.87 kilometers, the Wendelsteinhöhle cave entrance offers a unique opportunity to explore the natural wonders of the area. Midway through your hike, at around 4.54 kilometers, you'll encounter Die Wendelsteinmulde, giving hikers insight into the geological history of the region.
