This hiking route will take you through the beautiful Taubenstein area, known for its stunning views and diverse terrain. The trail is 6.572 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 483 meters, making it a moderate difficulty level hike.

You will start your journey at the Taubensteinbahn parking area, where you can park your vehicle before starting the hike. As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by the tranquil Am See parking area, perfect for a quick rest stop.

About midway through the hike, you will reach the Taubensteinhaus, a charming alpine hut and restaurant where you can refuel with some traditional mountain cuisine. The hut is located 3.29 kilometers from the start of the trail, offering a great spot to take in the surrounding natural beauty.

As you continue on, you will come across the majestic peak of Taubenstein, standing at 2.93 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a great photo opportunity to capture the stunning panoramic views.

Near the end of the hike, you will reach Taubensteinsattel, a saddle point at 2.84 kilometers from the start, offering a peaceful area to take a break and enjoy the scenery.
