Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Taubensteinbahn parking lot and the Am See parking area, both located at the beginning of the trail. As you continue on, you will reach a water source located 2.11 kilometers into the hike. The Rauhkopfhütte restaurant is also situated at the same point, providing a great spot to take a break and refuel.

Further along the trail, at the 2.11-kilometer mark, you will come across the Untere Schönfeldalmen information point, offering insight into the area's history and wildlife. Bench seating is available nearby for hikers to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

As you make your way back, you will pass by more information points and a beach area, adding to the scenic experience of the hike.
