Welcome to the Pantanos del Cachamay hiking route. This 15.885 kilometers long trail offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for hikers. With an elevation gain of 105.0 meters, this route is classified as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a strenuous workout.

Starting at Estacionamiento E, you will make your way through the lush surroundings, passing by various points of interest along the way. At around 2.01 kilometers from the start, you will come across a parking area before reaching Cabaña Cachamay, a shelter located 2.36 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery.

Continuing on, you will encounter Mirador Turístico at 2.03 kilometers from the start, offering breathtaking views of the area. As you trek further, you will pass by Restaurant Cachamay, a dining option located 2.03 kilometers from the start, where you can refuel before continuing your journey.

Further along the trail, at around 7.94 kilometers from the start, you will reach Pantanos del Cachamay, a beautiful natural area to explore and appreciate. This is a perfect spot to rest and take in the surroundings before starting your journey back.

Throughout the hike, you will also come across various shelters such as Cabaña 4 and Cabaña 5, providing a safe haven for hikers. Additionally, there are several viewpoints and eateries along the way, offering ample opportunities to relax and enjoy the hike.
