This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Salto Cachamay, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. The route is an out-and-back type, totaling 14.948 kilometers with an elevation gain of 106 meters, making it extremely difficult.
As you start your journey, you will come across the "Estacionamiento E" parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail. It is advisable to park here and begin your hike towards the Salto Cachamay waterfall. Along the way, you will pass by various facilities such as "Cabaña Cachamay" at 2.36 kilometers from the start and "Mirador Turístico" at 2.03 kilometers, where you can take in panoramic views of the surroundings.
Further ahead at 6.67 kilometers from the start, you will find "Cabaña 2" and the "Tigre" and "Puma" zoos, offering a unique wildlife experience.
