This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning peak of Cima di Lusia, starting from the picturesque area of Bellamonte. With a total distance of 13.777 kilometers and an elevation gain of 907 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart.
As you embark on this challenging journey, you will pass by several points of interest along the trail. At the beginning of the hike, you will find the Rifugio Passo Lusia alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Further along the trail, you will come across the restaurant El Zirmo, a perfect spot to refuel before continuing your ascent.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter a water source at a distance of 5.73 kilometers from the start, providing you with a much-needed opportunity to rehydrate. As you push on towards the peak, you will reach the Passo di Lusia saddle at 4.32 kilometers from the start, offering a brief respite before the final stretch to Cima di Lusia.
