Welcome to the hiking route to the Geschriebener Stein in the beautiful area of Navis. This circular route is 26.613 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1973 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
Starting at the parking area, you will follow the trail that leads you through picturesque landscapes and challenging terrain. Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. At about 4.72 kilometers into the hike, you will find a drinking water station, where you can refill your supplies. As you continue on, at 7.29 kilometers, you will come across the Naviser Jöchl saddle, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
Further ahead, at 12.08 kilometers, you will pass by a series of water sources before reaching the Geschriebener Stein, an archaeological site with a rock formation that holds historical significance. This will be a great spot to take a break and admire the unique landmark.
Continuing on, at 8.55 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Grafmartspitze, followed by Grünbergspitze at 9.14 kilometers and Rosenjoch at 9.9 kilometers. These peaks offer breathtaking views and a sense of accomplishment for reaching such heights.
Throughout the hike, you will also come across rock formations and wayside crosses, adding to the cultural and natural diversity of the area. As you make your way back to the starting point, be sure to stay hydrated and check the weather forecast before heading out.
