This hiking route to Mislkopf is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural scenery. The trail is an out-and-back type, totaling 12.369 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1065 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. It's important to note that there is a fee for parking here. Along the way, you will encounter several water sources at various distances from the trail, offering opportunities to refill your water supply. It is recommended to bring an adequate amount of water with you, as the hike is long and strenuous.
About 5.22 kilometers into the hike, you will find the first water source located off the trail. Further along, at 4.68 kilometers, there is another water source right on the trail, providing a convenient spot for a break. As you continue, more water sources will be available at different distances from the trail.
Midway through the hike, at a distance of 3.69 kilometers, you will find Hirschstein Peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Take some time to rest and enjoy the scenery before continuing your journey.
Towards the end of the trail, at 6.18 kilometers, you will reach Mislkopf Peak, where you can soak in the breathtaking views from the summit. Remember to pack essentials such as snacks, a first aid kit, and extra layers of clothing, as the weather conditions can change quickly at higher altitudes.
