This extremely difficult hiking route will take you through a challenging 13.315-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 1161 meters. Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across a parking space. As you continue on the trail, approximately 3.88 kilometers in, you will find a water source for refilling your water bottles.

Midway through the hike, at around 5.65 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Schafseitenspitze peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Further along the trail, at 5.27 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Pliderling peak, followed by the Reißenschuh peak at 6.66 kilometers.

Along the way, there are several historic points of interest, including wayside crosses and benches for resting. It is important to note that the Olpererblick restaurant is located off the trail at 0.45 kilometers from the start, so plan your rest stops accordingly.

As this is an extremely difficult trail, hikers are advised to come well-prepared with plenty of water, snacks, proper hiking gear, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this journey. The route is an out-and-back type, leading you to the destination name "Reißenschuh" before heading back to the starting point.
