This extremely difficult hiking route takes you along the Mölstalstraße in a stunning natural area. The 12.417-kilometer trail involves an elevation gain of 813 meters and is estimated to take about 4 hours and 54 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area right at the beginning of the trail. About 6.06 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a refreshing water source. Around 1.38 kilometers from the starting point, Peeralm, a restaurant and alpine hut, offers a picturesque spot to take a break and enjoy some food.
Throughout the hike, you will find several water points located at various distances from the trail. These spots offer opportunities to refill your water supply and rest along the way. Additionally, you will pass by Mölsjoch, a scenic saddle point about 5.65 kilometers into the hike.
Along the trail, you will also discover interesting landmarks such as wayside crosses, rock formations, information boards, benches, and historical sites. It's highly recommended to take the time to appreciate these features and learn more about the area's history and natural surroundings.
For your convenience, there are resting areas like Zehenteralm, an alpine hut with a no-smoking policy, and multiple benches strategically placed along the route.
