The Zirbenweg hiking route is located in a picturesque area with stunning views and challenging terrain. This out-and-back trail covers a distance of 12.865 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1088 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
As you embark on the journey, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. At the beginning of the hike, you will find the Golf-Restaurant, a perfect spot to grab a meal before starting your adventure. Further along the trail, you will encounter the Rinner Alm, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy the scenic surroundings.
During your trek, you will also find the Holzbrunnen spring for a refreshing drink of water. Be sure to check out the wayside cross at a point 0.21 kilometers from the start, offering a glimpse into the area's historic significance. Additionally, benches and information points are strategically placed along the route for your convenience.
