This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes and historic ruins. The trail covers a distance of 9.328 kilometers with an elevation gain of 900 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across the ruins of Cabane Bourrègué, a historic site located approximately 2.74 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the route, at around 4.01 kilometers, you will reach the Col de Laraille, a saddle offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks.
One of the highlights of the hike is the Pic de Laraille, a peak located 4.35 kilometers from the start of the trail. While this peak is not directly on the trail, it is worth the detour for its panoramic views. Another notable point of interest is the Mallo de Las Foyas peak, situated at around 4.66 kilometers from the beginning of the hike.
Along the way, you will also encounter the Aire de Stationnement de Lamary parking area, making it convenient for hikers to park their vehicles before hitting the trail. Additionally, there are several natural springs, including Source Bourrègué and Source de Lazerque, providing opportunities to refill your water bottles.
