Located in a picturesque area, this hiking route offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for outdoor enthusiasts. The trail extends for approximately 10 kilometers with an elevation gain of 720 meters, making it a difficult route suitable for experienced hikers.

The route begins at a convenient parking area, where hikers can prepare for their journey. Along the way, there are various points of interest to explore. At the beginning of the trail, hikers will come across a drinking water spot, providing a refreshing break before continuing on. Further ahead, an information point at L'Echalp offers insights into the surrounding area.

Midway through the hike, hikers will reach Cabane de Peyroun, a shelter where they can rest and enjoy the beautiful scenery. As the trail progresses, two picturesque lakes, Lac Égorgéou and Lac Baricle, come into view. While Lac Égorgéou lies slightly off the main trail, Lac Baricle is conveniently located beside the path, offering a tranquil spot to relax and take in the views.

As hikers make their way back, they can utilize the information points scattered along the trail for any additional insights. It is essential for hikers to come prepared with an ample water supply, as well as to check the weather forecast beforehand for a safe and enjoyable hiking experience.
