This hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 21.351 kilometers and an elevation gain of 2037 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will take approximately 10 hours to complete.
Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will pass by Bealera Funsa, a water feature located just 10.68 kilometers from the start. As you continue, you will come across Rifugio Albergo Alpino "Pian del Re" at the start of the trail, providing accommodation options for hikers.
Further along the route, you will reach Rifugio Vitale Giacoletti and Rifugio Vallanta, which offer more accommodation choices for hikers. Additionally, you will pass by Lac Lestio and Lac Porcieroles, two picturesque water features along the trail.
As you make your way back, you can visit Col Valante / Passo di Vallanta, a natural saddle that is 8.49 kilometers from the start. Other points of interest include ruins, information points, drinking water sources, and climbing spots scattered throughout the trail.
