Welcome to the hiking route to Plužensko jezero!
Located in a beautiful natural area, this easy out-and-back trail covers a distance of 2.51 kilometers with an elevation gain of 67 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels. The total duration of the hike is approximately 44 minutes.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail where you can leave your vehicle. It is advisable to carry enough water with you, as there are limited facilities along the way.
One of the highlights of this hike is the picturesque Plužensko jezero, a serene water body located 1.26 kilometers from the start of the trail. Take a moment to admire the natural beauty and maybe even have a peaceful rest by the lake.
On your way to Plužensko jezero, you will also encounter the impressive Slap Virje waterfall, located at the same distance as the lake from the trailhead. Although not directly on the trail, it is worth a short detour to witness the cascading waters in all their glory.
