This challenging hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with a total distance of 9.175 kilometers and an elevation gain of 393 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is 3 hours and 6 minutes.
Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey on this out-and-back trail. The first point of interest you will encounter is Poggio Fratone, a peak located 2.13 kilometers from the start. As you continue along the trail, you will reach a shelter at the 3.05 kilometer mark, where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.
Approximately 1 kilometer into the hike, you will come across a picnic site that is perfect for a rest stop. Make sure to stay hydrated by utilizing the drinking water available at the 3.02 kilometer mark. At 4.59 kilometers into the hike, you will find Le sette fontane, a stunning waterfall that serves as the turnaround point for this out-and-back trail.
Along the way, you will also pass by Fonte dei Corvi, a spring located 1.21 kilometers from the start, and Poggetto del Serrino, a peak at the 0.9 kilometer mark. Additionally, you will come across a memorial 0.25 kilometers into the hike.
