Welcome to the Balzi dell'Angelo hiking route! This circular route spans 8.1 kilometers with an elevation gain of 353 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

You will start your journey at the designated parking area, located right at the trailhead. Before setting off, make sure to fill up your water bottle at the drinking water station nearby.

As you begin the hike, you will pass by a charming bar where you can grab a quick snack or beverage. About 0.43 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views.

Midway through the route, at around 3.94 kilometers, you will encounter Monte Pizzo, a notable peak in the area. Nearby, the Parco Avventura Monte Pizzo offers a thrilling adventure park experience. Don't forget to hydrate at the drinking water station and take in the breathtaking views from the various viewpoints along the trail.

At around 3.95 kilometers, you will find a picnic site where you can take a break and refuel before continuing your journey. Further along the trail, you will come across informative signs at Bivio 125/135 and Bivio sette casoni.

As you near the end of the hike, be sure to stop by Ristorante Hotel Montegrande for a well-deserved meal. Finally, as you complete the loop, take a moment to rest and replenish your water supply at the drinking water stations before heading back to the parking area.
