This hiking route takes you through a rugged and beautiful area, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. With a total distance of 14.562 kilometers and an elevation gain of 605 meters, this hike is classified as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a strenuous workout.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll find a convenient parking area to leave your vehicle. From there, you'll make your way along the path, passing by the Grotta del Dordoio cave entrance at 3.44 kilometers into the hike. Further along, you'll reach the Balzo della Colonnetta peak at 7.28 kilometers, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
As you continue on, you'll come across a wayside cross at 1.16 kilometers and a saddle at 2.65 kilometers, providing interesting points of interest along the trail. Make sure to stay hydrated by refilling your water bottles at the drinking water sources located at 0.03 kilometers, 2.25 kilometers, and 0.0 kilometers into the hike.
Midway through the route, you'll encounter the Sella di Renicci saddle at 3.95 kilometers, offering a picturesque spot to take a break and soak in the scenery.
