Starting off at the trailhead, you will come across "Piedra Verde" information point just 0.2 kilometers from the beginning, where you can learn more about the area. As you continue on, "Entre Cerros y Ríos" fast food stop will be 0.05 kilometers ahead, in case you need a quick bite before starting your journey.
Further along the trail at a distance of 0.87 kilometers from the start, you will find "Mirador Quebrada El Sauce," a viewpoint offering breathtaking views of the surroundings. This is a great spot to take a break and admire the scenery.
As you reach the midway point of the hike, at approximately 1.99 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a beautiful waterfall called "Doble Cascada." The cascading water is a tranquil sight and a perfect place to rest and take in the natural beauty of the area.
