This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Tête de la Tranche. The trail is 8.576 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 591 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 27 minutes to complete.
As you begin your hike, you will pass by Millefonts parking area, which is located right at the start of the trail. Approximately 0.9 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Col de Veillos, a beautiful saddle that offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
As you continue on the trail, at around 1.95 kilometers, you will reach Lac Petit, a picturesque lake where you can take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Further along the trail, at 3.2 kilometers, you will encounter Col Ferrière, another scenic saddle along the route.
For those interested in peaks, Cime des Lauses is located at a distance of 3.54 kilometers from the trail, and Brec du Col Ferrière is at 3.03 kilometers away. Tête de la Tranche itself, the final destination of the hike, is situated at 4.29 kilometers into the trail.
