Welcome to the hiking route to Tête de Clans, a challenging trail that offers stunning views and historical landmarks along the way.
The route starts at the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before beginning your adventure. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the unfinished fort, PO de Caïre-Gros, which stands as a reminder of the area's historic significance.
Around the midway point of the hike, you will reach Col du Varaire and Col des deux Caïres, two beautiful natural saddles that provide a great spot to rest and take in the scenery. Additionally, you will find informational points that offer insights into the surrounding environment.
As you continue further, you will encounter peaks such as Tête de Clans, Le Caïre Gros, Le Caïre Petit, and Le Faut, each offering a unique perspective of the landscape.
Throughout the hike, you will also find facilities such as benches, a shelter, a bar, and drinking water stations to help you refuel and stay hydrated. Make sure to pack enough water and snacks for this challenging 9.724-kilometer journey with 782 meters of elevation gain.
